I’ve worked with Madden Media on various projects about the American West. Highlights include writing for Tahoe South’s 2019 Visitors Guide “Stay Your Way” section as well as several article in the their forthcoming 2020 guide. I’ve also crafted narratives for Visit Idaho‘s website, including one inspired by a couple with “empty nest syndrome” who reconnect while taking a road trip through Idaho’s stunning Selkirk Loop.

I create and manage Global CommUnity‘s editorial calendar with an output of one SEO blog post per week. I also write a weekly newsletter as well as a variety of destination-specific pre-engagement materials. These materials include detailed brochures and travel content tailored to school-aged children. I’ve also done an SEO rewrite of their home page and created content for destination-specific presentations.

I created and managed the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada’s (EDAWN) editorial calendar for their Work Live Play Reno Tahoe blog and wrote weekly SEO blog posts. I helped them decrease their bounce rate by 50%. I also wrote a quarterly newsletter for EDAWN that enjoyed an average open rate of 47% and click rate of 30%.

I create and manage the site’s editorial calendar, providing monthly keyword-rich blog posts. I also write monthly newsletters and have helped the company double its email subscriber list. When I began working with Sheehan Health and Wellness, their newsletter had an open rate of 18.4%. Today, the company’s newsletter open rate averages 44%.
